Samsung Galaxy F54 5G India Launch Tipped Again; Specifications Suggests Mid-Range Offering

Samsung is gearing up to launch a new mid-range smartphone in its Galaxy F series. While the Samsung Galaxy M14 5G launch in India is scheduled for later today, the South Korean tech giant is all set to unveil a new Galaxy F series smartphone in India soon.

The Samsung Galaxy F54 5G is expected to make its Indian debut later this month. While Samsung hasn't provided an official timeline for the Galaxy F54 5G launch in India, a new report by SlashLeaks suggests that the handset will arrive in the country by the end of this month.

While the report doesn't provide an exact Samsung Galaxy F54 5G launch date, it does reveal key specifications about the device. And judging by the leaked Galaxy F54 5G specs sheet, it is safe to say that the device will debut in India's mid-range smartphone market and could succeed the Galaxy F52 5G unveiled back in 2021.

According to the report, the Samsung Galaxy F54 5G will be powered by the Exynos 1380 SoC, the same chip powering the Galaxy A54 5G. Additionally, the chipset will be paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage, although the amount of memory hasn't been revealed.

At the front, the phone will sport a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The handset will likely also feature a triple-camera setup on the back that consists of a 108MP primary sensor with OIS, an 8 MP ultrawide shooter, and a 2MP macro unit.

The hole-punch screen cut-out could house a 32MP selfie camera. The Galaxy F54 is also expected to pack a massive 6,000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. The handset will run on Android 13 with Samsung's One UI skin.

Connectivity options for the upcoming Galaxy F54 will likely include Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3. Additionally, the phone is rumored to measure 8.4mm thick and weigh 199 grams. While the back of the Galaxy F54 5G will likely be made of plastic, the screen is expected to be protected by Gorilla Glass 5.
