Samsung took to its social media handle to confirm the Galaxy F55 5G is launching on May 17 at 12 PM IST. The brand further states the phone will come with a starting pricing of ₹ 2X999. Given that, we can say the Galaxy F55 5G will be launched under the Rs 30,000 segment.

Earlier, tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore revealed, the Samsung Galaxy F55 price will start at Rs 26,999 for the 8GB/128GB model, Rs 29,999 for the 8GB/256GB variant, and the high-end 12GB/256GB model will cost you Rs 32,999. In terms of availability, the phone will be available for purchase on Flipkart after the official announcement.

Samsung Galaxy F55 5G Features

The Samsung Galaxy F55 5G is confirmed to come with a classy vegan leather finish and fine saddle stitch pattern. It is also claimed to be the slimmest and lightest smartphone with a vegan leather finish in the segment.

The Galaxy F55 5G will feature a triple-rear camera setup with each sensor housed inside a circular ring. The phone will be offered in Apricot Crush and Raisin Black colour options, as per the Flipkart listing. The listing did not disclose anything regarding the features.

However, rumours suggested the Samsung Galaxy F55 5G will sport a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ Super AMOLED Plus display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1000 nits of peak brightness. It will offer a 50MP main and selfie camera sensors.

The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, paired with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. On the software front, the handset will run Android 14 OS with Samsung One UI 6.0. The Galaxy F55 5G will also pack a 5000 mAh battery unit with 45W charging support.
