The Samsung Galaxy F55 5G was supposed to launch today (May 17) in India; however, it has been postponed to May 27. The brand hasn't revealed the reason, so instead of focusing on that, let's take a look at what we know so far about the upcoming Galaxy F55 5G.

As per the teaser shared by Samsung, the Galaxy F55 5G will have a classy vegan leather finish and fine saddle stitch pattern. The device is also claimed to be the slimmest and lightest smartphone with a vegan leather finish in the segment.

Following the launch, the phone will be available on Flipkart, where a dedicated microsite has already gone live. It also revealed the Galaxy F55 5G will be offered in Apricot Crush and Raisin Black colour options.

In terms of features, the phone is tipped to come with a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ Super AMOLED Plus display, a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1000 nits of peak brightness. For imaging, there will be a triple camera system which might include a 50MP main camera sensor.

Moreover, the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, paired with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The Galaxy F55 5G will also pack a 5000 mAh battery unit with 45W charging support and run Android 14 OS with Samsung One UI 6.0.

As far as the price is concerned, the Samsung Galaxy F55 is confirmed to arrive under the Rs 30,000 segment. The exact pricing is still under wraps; however, the phone is tipped to come with a starting price of Rs 26,999.
