The Samsung Galaxy F55 5G is set to make its debut in India today. The Galaxy F55 5G was scheduled to debut earlier this month but Samsung delayed the launch of the phone to the end of the month.

One of the biggest highlights of the Galaxy F55 5G is its vegan leather back panel. It is also touted as the 'lightest vegan leather smartphone of 2024'. The Samsung Galaxy F55 5G also appears to be a rebranded version of the Galaxy C55 5G, which was unveiled in China last month.

The Samsung Galaxy F55 5G is launching in India later today. While the official launch time hasn't been revealed, the Samsung Galaxy F55 5G will go on sale in India today through Flipkart, starting from 07:00 pm IST.

Samsung has confirmed that customers who purchase the Galaxy F55 5G during the early sale at 07:00 pm today can get the Galaxy Fit 3 for just Rs 1,999 or a 45W travel adapter for Rs 499. The official Flipkart page also confirms the Samsung Galaxy F55 5G price in India will start from under Rs 30,000.

Samsung Galaxy F55 5G Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy F55 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage that is expandable via a microSD card. The Galaxy F55 sports a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The Galaxy C55 5G also packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging support, although no adapter will be provided in the box. For optics, the Galaxy C55 5G features a 50 MP primary sensor with OIS, a 5 MP ultrawide lens, and a 2 MP macro unit. Up front, the Galaxy C55 5G opts for a 50 MP selfie camera.

Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G LTE, an in-display fingerprint reader, a USB Type-C port, and more. The phone runs Android 14-based One UI 6.1 with Samsung promising four years of Android OS updates and five years of regular security patches.
