Samsung is all set to unveil the Galaxy F55 5G on May 27 in India, which was supposed to go official last week. Following the launch, the phone will be available for purchase on Flipkart, where a dedicated microsite has already gone live.

The Samsung Galaxy F55 5G will have a classy vegan leather finish and fine saddle stitch pattern. It is claimed to be the slimmest and lightest smartphone with a vegan leather finish in the segment. The phone is confirmed to feature a Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

As per the Flipkart listing, the Galaxy F55 5G will receive four years of Android upgrades and five years of security updates. The phone will support 45W charging and will be offered in Apricot Crush and Raisin Black colour options. Under the hood, the handset will get its power from the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, paired with up to 12GB of RAM. It will feature an in-display fingerprint sensor as well.

Moreover, the upcoming Galaxy F55 is expected to sport a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ display with up to 1000 nits of peak brightness. For imaging, it is likely to include a 50MP main camera sensor. The phone is tipped to come with up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage and to pack a 5000 mAh battery unit.

The Samsung Galaxy F55 5G is confirmed to arrive under Rs 30,000 in India. If rumours are to be believed, the Galaxy F55 will come with a starting price of Rs 26,999. In this range, the phone will compete against the recently launched Realme GT 6T and the Infinix GT 20 Pro.
