Samsung Galaxy F55 5G Teaser Video Reveals Design in Full Glory; Tipped to Come at Rs 26,999

Samsung is all set to unveil the Galaxy F55 5G soon in India. The brand has not announced the exact launch date yet; however, it has started teasing the design of the upcoming smartphone.

The teaser video shared by Samsung shows the Galaxy F55 5G with a classy vegan leather finish and fine saddle stitch pattern. There is a dedicated microsite on Flipkart, which confirms the upcoming Galaxy F55 5G will be the slimmest and lightest smartphone with a vegan leather finish in the segment. The phone is also confirmed to come in two colour options namely - Apricot Crush and Raisin Black.

As seen in the teaser, the phone will have a triple-rear camera setup with each camera housed inside a circular ring. However, the brand did not disclose the features of the handset. Rumours and reports suggested that the Galaxy F55 5G will feature a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ Super AMOLED Plus display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1000 nits of peak brightness.

The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, paired with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The phone will also pack a 5000 mAh battery unit with 45W charging support. It will run Android 14 OS with Samsung One UI 6.0 and have an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The triple camera sensors could include a 50MP main camera with OIS support, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro camera. Upfront, the Galaxy F55 5G might feature a 50MP selfie camera sensor.

According to tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, the Samsung Galaxy F55 will come with a starting at Rs 26,999 for the 8GB/128GB model, Rs 29,999 for the 8GB/256GB variant, and the high-end 12GB/256GB model will cost Rs 32,999.
