Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime owners in India can now experience Android Nougat hands-on. Well, the South Korean smartphone manufacturer has started rolling out the Android 7.0 update for the Galaxy J5 Prime smartphone in the country.
While Samsung has not been the quickest in terms of delivering the update to its smartphones, but it's finally here and this is especially good news for the Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime device owners. So if you own a Galaxy J5 Prime smartphone, then you should receive a notification about the update. If not, then it's worth heading to Settings > Software update and then manually check if the update is available for you.
The software update, which is rolling out in India comes with a file size of 1066.76MB and firmware version G570FXXU1BQ16 / G570FOJV1BQ16. The device is being rolled out as an OTA update and therefore it might take some time before it reaches all the devices.

Plus Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime will also get all the new features included in Android 7.0 Nougat like additional emoji and refined battery saving tools and more. Apart from these, the update also brings the standard bug fixes, stability improvements, and speed optimizations.
