The FCC listing of the upcoming Samsung smartphone has not revealed any information about the specifications. However, the certification database has shed light on the dimensions of the smartphone. Going by the same, the Galaxy J7 (2018) would have a width of 153mm and a height of 76mm. This gives us a hint that the smartphone could be a little bigger than the Galaxy J7 (2017). Also, there is a possibility for the device to feature a bigger 5.6-inch display.

Though the camera specifications, alleged launch date and possible pricing of the smartphone are yet to be revealed, the leaked Geekbench listing of the Galaxy J7 (2018) shows that the smartphone could be launched with an octa-core Samsung Exynos 7885 SoC clocked at 2.2Hz teamed up with 2GB RAM.

Given that the model number SM-J737P seen on the benchmark listing is different from that of the FCC certification, we can expect the company to launch several variants of the Galaxy J7 (2018) based on the region. Also, from the specifications spotted on the benchmark database, we can infer that it could be an affordable variant of the Galaxy J7 (2017).
