Given that the previous Galaxy J7 smartphones were announced sometime in the second quarter of the year, we can expect this one to also be unveiled by June this year. The Geekbench database hints that the alleged Galaxy J7 (2018) will make use of the same Exynos 7885 chipset, which was used by the Galaxy A8 (2018) unveiled in December last year. This chipset will comprise of two ARM Cortex A73 cores clocked up to 2.2GHz. Also, it will use six 1.6GHz Cortex A53 cores. The processor is new and only the Galaxy A8 (2018) lineup uses the same. This processor seems to be paired with 2GB RAM as well.
