We have been coming across several reports regarding upcoming Samsung Galaxy J series smartphones of late. It was only recently that we learned that the Galaxy J7 Duo will be launched in India soon with the model number SM-J720F. Now, the first press render of this smartphone has emerged online showing the standard design we have been seeing on Galaxy J series smartphones.
Well, the press render of the Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo was revealed by Killer Features. From the render, we can see the design at the front of the smartphone clearly. The front of the Galaxy J7 Duo appears to house a standard display with a conventional aspect ratio of 16:9. Also, there appears by a physical home button at the bottom bezel and capacitive buttons on either side the button. These capacitive buttons seem to feature the new Samsung Experience design. At the top bezel, there is a selfie camera, which is accompanied by LED flash to click selfies even in low-light conditions.
The previous report suggested that the Galaxy J7 (2018) aka Galaxy J7 Duo could offer Bixby support. The report adds that though there is no dedicated Bixby button on the smartphone, the device will offer access to Bixby Home and Bixby Reminder features. Going by the same, the render does not appear to have a dedicated button for Bixby on board. Also, the leaked manual of the Galaxy J7 Duo hints at the Bixby support.
From the previous reports, we have a fair idea of the Galaxy J7 Duo specifications. The smartphone is likely to feature a dual-camera setup at its rear with 13MP and 5MP sensors. Notably, the dual-camera setup is a feature, which is seen in the high-end offerings from Samsung. The device is expected to feature a mid-range Exynos 7885 processor paired with 3GB RAM. The display is said to be a 5-inch HD 720p panel. And, we expect the Galaxy J7 Duo to run Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. The selfie camera on board this device is likely an 8MP selfie and as mentioned above, there is a selfie flash as well.
