Samsung is gearing up to unveil two new smartphones in its Galaxy M series in India. The Samsung Galaxy M15 5G and Galaxy M55 5G were recently teased on Amazon, although the South Korean tech giant has only recently revealed an official launch date for its upcoming devices.
The launch of Samsung's upcoming Galaxy M series smartphones comes on the back of the Galaxy A55 5G and Galaxy A35 5G's arrival in the country. Ahead of the launch, Samsung has already confirmed several details about its Galaxy M series smartphones.

Samsung Galaxy M15 5G, Galaxy M55 5G India Launch Date
The Samsung Galaxy M15 5G and Galaxy M55 5G are launching in India on April 8 at 12 noon. Following their launch, the two upcoming Galaxy M series smartphones will go on sale in India through Amazon.
To recall, the Galaxy M55 5G was only recently unveiled in Brazil, while the Galaxy M15 5G was also unveiled globally. Amazon's dedicated listings also confirm their specifications.
Samsung Galaxy M55 5G: What we know so far!
Samsung's upcoming mid-range smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset. The Galaxy M55 5G sports a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. The handset packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
For optics, the Galaxy M55 5G features a 50 MP primary sensor with OIS, an 8 MP ultrawide lens, and a 2 MP macro unit. Up front, the phone opts for a 50 MP selfie camera. The Galaxy M55 5G runs Android 14-based One UI 6.1 out of the box. Samsung has confirmed that its upcoming mid-range smartphone will come in Light Green and Black color options.
Samsung Galaxy M15 5G: What we know so far!
The Samsung Galaxy M15 5G will use the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC. The phone has been confirmed to pack a massive 6,000 mAh battery with fast charging support. Samsung has also revealed that the Galaxy M15 5G will sport a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 800 nits.
Moreover, the Samsung Galaxy M15 5G will also offer flagship-grade software support, offering four major Android OS updates and five years of regular security updates. For optics, the Galaxy M15 5G will feature a 50 MP primary sensor, a 5 MP ultrawide lens, and a 2 MP macro shooter. Up front, the M15 5G opts for a 13 MP selfie camera.
