Samsung Galaxy M55 and Galaxy M15 Launched in India: Check Price, Specs, Availability
Samsung has finally unveiled two new smartphones in the Indian market, catering to different segments: the feature-packed Galaxy M55 5G and the budget-friendly Galaxy M15 5G.
Samsung Galaxy M55 5G: Successor with Flagship Touches The Galaxy M55 5G takes the baton from the unreleased Galaxy M54 5G and introduces itself with two notable firsts for Samsung in India. It boasts the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, marking the first time this chipset finds its way into a Samsung phone in the country. Additionally, the M55 5G shatters expectations by offering a best-in-class 50MP front-facing camera, a feature not even present in Samsung's high-end Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Price and Configuration The Galaxy M55 5G comes in three configurations, offering a choice between RAM and storage capacity. Prices start at Rs 26,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, followed by Rs 29,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage option.
The top-of-the-line model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage carries a price tag of Rs 32,999. Customers can find the phone on Samsung's website, Amazon India, and various retail stores, with Light Green and Dark Blue color options available.
Samsung Galaxy M55 5G: Specs The M55 5G boasts a large 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and a crisp Full-HD+ resolution. Under the hood, the aforementioned Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset takes center stage, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM for efficient multitasking. Storage options range from 128GB to 256GB, with the ability to expand further using a microSD card (up to 1TB).
On the camera front, the M55 5G boasts a versatile triple-camera system on the back. The main sensor is a powerful 50MP unit, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP macro sensor for capturing close-up details. However, the true highlight lies on the front, where the industry-leading 50MP selfie camera promises high-resolution selfies and video calls.
Complementing these features is a 5000mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging for quickly replenishing the device. Connectivity options include dual-SIM 5G, Bluetooth v5.2, NFC, GPS, Wi-Fi 6, and a USB-C port for charging and data transfer. Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos enhance the multimedia experience, while the phone runs Android 14 with Samsung's One UI 6.1 customization on top. Security is handled by an optical fingerprint sensor, and Samsung promises 4 years of major OS upgrades and 5 years of security patches for the device.
Samsung Galaxy M15 5G: A Budget-Conscious Choice Alongside the M55 5G, Samsung also introduced the Galaxy M15 5G as a more affordable option targeted at budget-conscious users.

Price and Configuration The phone is available in two variants: a 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model priced at Rs 13,299 and a 6GB RAM + 128GB storage option priced at Rs 14,799. Color choices include Blue Topaz, Celestial Blue, and Stone Grey. The M15 5G will also be available on Samsung's official website, Amazon, and in retail stores.
Samsung Galaxy M15 5G: Specs The M15 5G features a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate for a smooth viewing experience. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC coupled with a Mali G57 GPU, offering adequate performance for everyday tasks. RAM options go up to 6GB, while storage remains at 128GB with the option to expand via a microSD card. The phone comes pre-loaded with One UI 6 based on Android 14.
