Samsung Galaxy M55s With 120Hz AMOLED Display, 50MP Primary Camera Launched in India; Price and Sale Date

Samsung has announced the Galaxy M55s in India which falls in the country's sub-20K segment. The latest M series model comes with a Dual Recording feature, allowing users to capture videos using the rear and front cameras simultaneously.

Samsung Galaxy M55s Price and Sale in India

The Samsung Galaxy M55s price in India starts at Rs 19,999 for the 8GB/128GB storage model. While there are two more storage variants available, the brand has not revealed the pricing yet.

The Galaxy M55s will be available for purchase via Amazon, Samsung.in, Samsung Exclusive Stores, and other retail stores starting September 26. Buyers can also avail of an additional discount of Rs 2,000 on SBI credit card transactions. It is offered in Coral Green and Thunder Black colour options.

The Galaxy M55s has a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution (2400×1080 pixels) that supports a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1000 nits. It is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage that supports storage expansion of up to 1TB using a dedicated microSD card.

For imaging, there is a 50MP f/1.8 primary camera with OIS, an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide lens, and a 2MP f/2.4 macro camera. The phone also supports 4K video recording at 30fps. Upfront, it opts for a 50MP selfie camera.

Running OneUI 6.1 based on Android 14, the Galaxy M55s packs a 5000 mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging. Other features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, Samsung Knox Vault, and Bluetooth 5.2 for connectivity.
