Samsung Galaxy M56 5G and F56 5G Appear on Support Pages, Hinting at Imminent India Launch
Samsung appears to be moving closer to the launch of two new mid-range smartphones in India: the Galaxy M56 5G and Galaxy F56 5G. With their support pages now live on Samsung India's website and listings spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) database (as spotted by TheTechOutlook), an official release could be just around the corner.
While Samsung hasn't shared specs or features yet, the breadcrumb trail left by certifications and model numbers hints at the arrival of successors to last year's Galaxy M55 5G and F55 5G.

Support Pages Go Live, Launch Nears
Support listings for model numbers SM-M566B/DS and SM-E566B/DS-believed to be the Galaxy M56 and F56 respectively-have quietly gone live on Samsung's India site. These designations closely follow the model codes for the M55 (SM-M556B/DS) and F55 (SM-E556B/DS), leaving little doubt about the identity of these upcoming devices.
The DS suffix confirms support for dual-SIM functionality, a standard feature in Samsung's midrange portfolio. As with their predecessors, 5G support on both SIM slots is expected.
Interestingly, the Galaxy M56 has also popped up on Samsung's Bangladesh website, indicating that its launch might not be limited to India.
BIS and Bluetooth SIG Listings Confirm Progress
Beyond the Samsung support pages, both phones were recently spotted on India's BIS certification website. Although the BIS database doesn't provide technical details, it typically appears when a device is nearing its commercial debut.
The Galaxy M56 and F56 have also made appearances in the Bluetooth SIG database, a regulatory step that precedes most device launches. The previous models supported Bluetooth 5.2, and it remains to be seen whether the new phones will get an upgrade in wireless connectivity.
Import Activity Reveals Testing in Progress
Some behind-the-scenes details have also surfaced. Components like batteries, displays, microphones, and accessories for these models have reportedly been imported from South Korea to India for testing.
This aligns with Samsung's usual supply chain and R&D practices before finalizing a product for market release.
