Samsung Galaxy M56 5G Launching Today at 12 PM on Amazon: Confirmed Specs and Key Features
Samsung’s newest mid-range phone, the Galaxy M56 5G, is going live today at 12 PM on Amazon India, and it looks like the company is aiming to bring a more refined design and smarter features to the sub-₹30K category.

Build and Design
Samsung is highlighting the M56’s slim profile right off the bat. At just 7.2mm thick, it’s as slim as the flagship Galaxy S25—and that's saying something. This year’s focus on sleek, lightweight builds is clearly trickling down to more affordable models.
Unlike many mid-range phones that still stick to plastic bodies, the M56 gets Gorilla Glass Victus on both sides and a glass-metal frame, giving it a much more premium feel in hand.
Cameras
For photography, you get a 50MP triple rear camera setup with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS)—a nice touch for anyone who’s tired of blurry shots. The front camera is a 12MP shooter with HDR support, which should be solid for selfies and video calls, even if it’s a step down from last year’s 50MP selfie sensor.
Video recording goes up to 4K at 30fps with 10-bit HDR—another surprise feature for a non-flagship phone.
AI Features
Samsung’s new Galaxy AI tools are also available, specifically, Object Eraser, Image Clipper, and Edit Suggestions.
Brighter Screen, Familiar Pricing?
The display is said to be the brightest Super AMOLED+ panel in the Galaxy M lineup, thanks to Samsung's Vision Booster technology—good news for anyone who struggles with screen glare outdoors. If it follows last year’s M55 formula, we’ll likely see a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display.
As for pricing, Samsung hasn’t revealed the final figure yet, but if history repeats, the M56 should land somewhere between ₹25,000 and ₹30,000, with Amazon launch offers possibly pushing it even lower.
