The Samsung Galaxy M56 is set to go on sale in India for the first time today. To recall, the Galaxy M56 5G was unveiled in India last week in the country's sub-25K segment.

The Galaxy M56 features an Exynos chipset, a 120Hz AMOLED display, a triple-camera setup, a large battery with fast charging support, and the latest software with flagship-grade support.

The Samsung Galaxy M56 goes on sale in India at 12 noon today via Amazon, Samsung India's online store, and through mainline retail channels. The Samsung Galaxy M56 price in India starts from Rs 27,999 for the base 8GB/128GB model.

On the other hand, the 8GB/256GB variant will set you back Rs 30,999. Moreover, customers who purchase the Galaxy M56 5G through an HDFC Bank credit or debit card can get an instant discount of Rs 3,000. Finally, the Galaxy M56 5G is offered in Light Green and Black colours.

Samsung Galaxy M56 Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy M56 comes equipped with an Octa-Core Exynos 1480 processor clocked at up to 2.75GHz, paired with an AMD Xclipse 530 GPU. It offers options of either 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage alongside an LPDDR5X RAM of 8GB. For connectivity, it supports Dual SIM (nano + nano), USB Type-C audio, Wi-Fi (802.11 ac), Bluetooth version 5.3, GPS + GLONASS, NFC, and both SA/NSA modes for 5G along with VoLTE for 4G networks.

This device boasts a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It includes a vapor chamber cooling system that is 33% larger than its predecessor. The handset runs Android 15-based OneUI 7 out of the box. Samsung promises up to six generations of OS upgrades and security updates.

The phone features a main camera of 50MP with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and supports 10-bit HDR recording on both front and rear cameras. Additionally, it includes an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro sensor.

The phone's battery capacity is 5,000 mAh, supporting 45W fast charging through Super-Fast Charge 2.0 technology. However, it does not include a charger in the box.
