Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite’s BIS Certification Indicates Imminent Launch In India
Samsung is working on a bunch of smartphones for later this year. The Galaxy Note 10 Lite is amongst one of the expected handsets. The device has been spotted multiple times online via leaks revealing key design elements and hardware. It was recently suggested that the device might make a delayed debut in India. Now, its certification indicates an imminent launch.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite Gets Certified in India
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite has been certified by BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) in India. It was earlier suggested that the company might launch the device by the end of December in India. However, it is now expected to arrive by mid-January next year.
With the device getting certified by BIS, we can expect its launch soon. However, we still are waiting for Samsung to reveal the official launch details. Notably, the Galaxy Note 10 Lite's BIS webpage listing doesn't reveal any information on the hardware.
But, previous leaks have given us an insight into the specifications and features. The Galaxy Note 10 Lite is likely to sport an AMOLED display measuring somewhere between 6.5-inch to 6.7-inch.
The leaked renders have revealed a center-aligned punch-hole and a square-shaped quad-camera module at the rear. The Galaxy Note 10 Lite has made an appearance on Geekbench running on a 1.9Ghz Exynos 9810 chipset. The listing also suggested 6GB RAM, 128GB storage.
It will likely ship with Android 10 OS with One UI 2.0 skin on top. The device scored 667 points in the single-core and 2030 points in the multi-core tests. The quad-rear camera setup is said to offer a 12MP primary sensor.
However, there is no exact details available on the sensors. But, the front camera is likely to be a 32MP sensor with an f/2.0 aperture. The device is likely to retain a 3.5mm headphone jack and come with an S Pen support.
