Now, Samsung has started to push out the Android Nougat update to its Galaxy On Nxt in India. However, only the 64GB model of the phone is eligible for the update as of now. The software firmware version for this update is G610FXXU1BQH8 for the smartphone with a file size of 1139.63MB. Other than the usual features of Android Nougat, the update also brings the Dual Messenger feature.

So the Galaxy On Nxt users can operate two accounts of a social media site at the same time. Since it is an OTA update, you may not get Android Nougat on your phone immediately. If you one of those impatient kinds, you can check for the update manually by going to the Settings >About Phone > Software Update.

Needless to say, make sure your phone has sufficient battery and storage space before initiating the update installation process. Your device should have at least 50 percent of battery life and 2GB of free space. Also, it is recommended to use the Wi-Fi network instead of cellular data for installing the update.

Moreover, don't be upset if you own the 32GB variant of the Samsung Galaxy On Nxt. It wouldn't be too long before the Nougat update hits the 32GB model of the phone as well.

Talking about the new features, apart from the latest openly available version of Android, the update also brings a slightly refreshed interface, a redesigned Multi-Window multitasking feature that feels closer to what Google had in mind with the stock take on the functionality, enhanced Always On Display, quick setting toggles, Samsung Pass, and improved notifications.
