Samsung Galaxy Quantum 5 Goes Official With QRNG Chip and 120Hz AMOLED Display; What's New?
Samsung has announced the Galaxy Quantum 5 smartphone with a Quantum Random Number Generator (QRNG) chip which improves the security of the device.
In collaboration with SK Telecom and ID Quantique, the smartphone is designed for the South Korean market. Apart from the QRNG chip, the Galaxy Quantum 5 shares similar specifications as the Galaxy A55. Let's dive into the details.

Samsung Galaxy Quantum 5 Features
The Samsung Galaxy Quantum 5 has a 6.6-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,340 pixels) Super AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. The device is powered by the Exynos 1480 SoC paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage that can be expanded up to 1TB using a dedicated microSD card.
There is a triple rear camera setup including a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS) support, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 5MP macro shooter. On the front, the Galaxy Quantum 5 gets a 32MP selfie camera.
The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging and runs on Android 14 OS. The Galaxy Quantum 5 also comes with Samsung's Knox Vault security feature and an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance. Moreover, the device includes several AI features, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and a 3.5mm headphone jack for connectivity.

The Samsung Galaxy Quantum 5 price in South Korea starts at KRW 618,200 (roughly Rs 38,800). It is offered in Awesome Iceblue, Awesome Navy, and Awesome Lilac colours.
