Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite, Note 10 Lite India Launch Likely Delayed

Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite and Galaxy Note 10 Lite are being speculated heavily of late. Initially, these smartphones were slated to be launched sometime this month. Now, there seems to be a delay and the exact launch date of these upcoming models is yet to be known.

In the meantime, a report by 91mobiles citing an industry source reveals that the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite and Galaxy Note 10 Lite smartphones will be launched the country in mid-January 2020. Notably, this information comes just a day after the leaked renders of the Galaxy Note 10 Lite hit the web.

Previously, Samsung was expected to end the year with the launch of the Galaxy S10 Lite, Galaxy A51, and Galaxy Note 10 Lite. And, there are speculations that the Galaxy A51 could be launched soon in India in December.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite Specifications

The Galaxy S10 Lite support page went live on the official Samsung website hinting the imminent launch of the smartphone. The device is believed to arrive with a 6.69-inch punch-hole display, which is relatively higher than the 5.8-inch display of the Galaxy S10e.

The other aspects of the smartphone include a Snapdragon 855 SoC, a 32MP selfie camera, triple rear cameras with a 48MP primary sensor and support for 45W fast charging support. It is likely that the device might arrive with a microSD card slot.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite Specifications

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite is rumored to feature a different design than the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus. From the renders, it is seen that there could be a square-shaped camera module instead of a vertical arrangement. It is said to flaunt a centered punch-hole display, S Pen as the other devices in the Note lineup and a headphone jack.

 

Furthermore, this smartphone is believed to flaunt a 6.5-inch to 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED display. And, it could be powered by an octa-core Exynos 9810 SoC used by the Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy S9 smartphones.

Given that Samsung will be prepping up to launch the next-generation flagship smartphones in the first quarter of 2020, the toned-down variants of the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy S10 make us believe that these can be alternatives to those who want relatively affordable offerings.
