Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G with Snapdragon 888 SoC launch in India confirmed

Samsung is launching a new version of the Galaxy S21 FE 5G in India. The Galaxy S21 FE 5G was unveiled in India back in early 2022. However, the phone was unveiled with an Exynos 2200 chipset.

Now, Samsung is bringing a new version of the Galaxy S21 FE 5G with the Snapdragon 888 SoC. It is worth noting that the Galaxy S21 FE 5G with the Snapdragon 888 chip has been available globally for a couple of years now.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G with the Snapdragon 888 chipset is launching in India this month. However, no official launch date has been provided by the South Korean tech giant. Samsung has also set up an official page for the Galaxy S21 FE 5G launch in India.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G price in India started from Rs 54,999 at the time of its launch. However, we believe the Snapdragon version of the Galaxy S21 FE 5G will cost anywhere between Rs 40,000 and Rs 50,000.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The Galaxy S21 FE has a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O Flat Display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a 240Hz touch sampling rate.

The screen is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, while the phone features an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. On the software front, the smartphone runs on Android 12 with One UI 4 on top. The device packs a 4,500 mAh battery unit with 25W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging support.

For cameras, there is a triple camera setup consisting of a 12MP main camera with OIS support, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and an 8MP telephoto camera with OIS. Upfront, it comes with a 32MP camera sensor for selfies and videos.
