The Samsung Galaxy S22 is now available at a massive discount in India, months after the launch of the Galaxy S23. To recall, the S22 made its debut in India back in February 2022, bearing a price tag of ₹72,999. The smartphone is now available in the country at a discount of ₹8,000.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 can now be purchased in India at ₹64,999 for the base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The brand is also offering an upgrade bonus of ₹7,000 for customers exchanging their older Galaxy smartphones.

That's not all, Samsung is also offering a cashback of ₹3,000. Clubbing all these offers brings the price of the base model of the Galaxy S22 all the way down to ₹57,999. The smartphone also has a no-cost EMI option for up to 9 months. Bajaj Finserv card or HDFC credit card holders can avail the 24-month EMI option as well.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 comes in Bora Purple, Green, Phantom Black, Phantom White, and Pink Gold color options. The smartphone can be purchased via the Samsung India website, Amazon, and leading retail stores.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 sports a 6.1-inch full-HD+ panel with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The smartphone has a Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen which is protected by a layer of Gorilla Glass Victus+.

Powering the Galaxy S22 is a 4nm octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. It is accompanied by 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. When it comes to the operating system, the device runs Android 12-based One UI 4.1 out of the box.

As for imaging, the S22 features a triple camera setup at the rear, comprising a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and a 10MP telephoto sensor. At the front, there's a 10MP camera for selfies and video calls.
