Samsung Galaxy S23 Camera Crashes on Using 30x Zoom, Fix On The Cards
A recent camera issue has reportedly surfaced on the Samsung Galaxy S23, where the camera app crashes when one tries to use the 30x zoom. The Samsung camera software division confirmed that after analysing the error, they found it to be a result of the quick switching of cameras that happens internally in the mobile. The team also highlighted that they're working on a fix, and that they're going to introduce it in the form of an update soon.
The Galaxy S23 has been in the news for different reasons since its launch, and this time it's one of their most advertised features that's in the limelight. The camera app crashes every time a user tries to zoom in 30x, and even though Samsung didn't disclose which patch caused the error, it highlighted that the company is aware of the problem, and is already testing out a method to fix it.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Update on the cards
Earlier, the team at Google Project Zero had found 18 flaws in Samsung modems. Samsung had then claimed to have patches for 5 out of 6 flaws fixed in the March, and was going to release a new update in April. This April update is the one which perhaps has the patch linked to the camera.
The team also highlighted that due to technology and the environment, it is difficult to provide a detailed update schedule at the moment. They also pointed to the need for implementing and using the latest software updates at all times, to ensure optimum performance of the smartphone.
Bugs have plagued the Galaxy S23 since it's launch. A Wi-fi connectivity issue, a scrolling bug and a camera blur are among the many flaws reported by users over time.

Priced presently at Rs. 74,999, the Galaxy S23 boasts of a 50 MP main camera. Additionally, it also has a 12MP ultra-wide camera and a 10MP telephoto camera. It allows for low-light and night-time photography, and claims to be able to capture good details at all lighting levels. The phone also has a 6.1-inch dynamic AMOLED display, 8GB RAM with an additional 128/256GB storage, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, and a 3900mAh battery.
