Samsung Galaxy S23 FE with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC Officially Listed on Flipkart

Samsung is gearing up to unveil the Qualcomm Snapdragon version of the Galaxy S23 FE in India soon. To recall, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Fan Edition was unveiled in India back in October.

However, that version of the device was equipped with the Exynos 2200 chipset. Now, Flipkart has the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE model with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset listed on its platform.

It is worth noting that the Flipkart listing confirms the device is already sold out. The listing reveals that the Galaxy S23 FE uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. It also shows that the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE with the Snapdragon chip price in India starts from Rs 56,500.

Only one listing of the Galaxy S23 FE is available in an 8/128GB configuration and a Purple color option. Apart from the new chip, the rest of the specifications of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1-powered Samsung Galaxy S23 FE will feature the same specs as its Exyno counterpart. At the time of writing, the handset was "sold out" on Flipkart.

Samsung Galaxy S23 FE Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is powered by the 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The chip is paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The Galaxy S23 FE packs a 4,500 mAh battery, supporting 25W fast wired charging as well as wireless fast charging.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE sports a 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution. The panel boasts an adaptive refresh rate (60Hz - 120Hz) and has Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The Galaxy S23 FE also packs dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

For optics, the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE has a triple-camera setup on the back with a 50 MP primary sensor with OIS. The main camera is paired with a 12 MP ultrawide shooter and an 8 MP telephoto unit with 3x optical zoom. Up front, the device gets a 10 MP selfie camera.

It features an in-display fingerprint sensor and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. Connectivity options on the Galaxy S23 FE include 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC, 4G LTE, and more. The handset runs Android 13 with One UI 5.0 on top with Samsung promising four years of OS upgrades and five years of security updates.
