Samsung Galaxy S24 To Pack Snapdragon Or Exynos SoC?

The Samsung Galaxy S24+ recently surfaced on Geekbench 6 benchmarks. The listing revealed a single-core score of 2233 and a multi-core score of 6661.

The Geekbench scores and the specifications of the chipset mentioned confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy S24+ is being powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, which is paired with 8GB of RAM.

Samsung is known to embed its own Exynos chipsets in some variants of Galaxy Android smartphones. The Galaxy S24 series too could be subjected to this tactic. Tipster Ice Universe has confirmed the return of the Samsung Exynos 2400 processor.

Interestingly, it seems the in-house developed Samsung Exynos 2400 packs 10 cores. Some reports claim its performance surpasses that of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. It is possible that one of the Samsung Galaxy S24 series smartphones with Exynos 2400 chipset could be headed to some regions of Europe and Asia.

The upcoming Galaxy S24+ and S24 Ultra models have significantly improved battery capacity, revealed Ice Universe. The leak contains TUV certification database listings, which reveal the S24+ features a 4755mAh battery (typical value 4900mAh). compared to the S23+, which packs a 4700mAh battery.

At 4855mAh capacity (typical value 5000mAh), the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra seems to be packing the largest battery in the Galaxy S24 series. A few recent rumors suggest the upcoming Samsung smartphones will support 65W wired fast charging, which may have electric vehicle battery technology for better reliability and longevity.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus and Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra Display And Design

The display size of the Samsung Galaxy S24+ is expected to increase as well. Ice Universe claims the Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus will feature a 6.65-inch 2X LTPO AMOLED display, which is slightly bigger than the previous model's 6.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra might not feature a larger display. However, to elevate the smartphone's value, Samsung is rumored to be embedding the device in a titanium frame.
