Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Launching in India This Month: Could be Priced Closer to the Galaxy S25 Ultra
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is anticipated to launch in April, with leaks suggesting it will be the thinnest phone in Samsung's lineup. The phone is expected to debut on April 16, although there are conflicting reports about the exact date. Some sources claim it might be available in Europe on April 15 and in India on April 16.
While Samsung has not officially announced the release date, rumours indicate that the Galaxy S25 Edge will be unveiled this month. A Dutch publication, Nieuwemobiel.nl, suggests an April 15 launch, while other reports point to April 16. Both dates could be accurate, with different regions receiving the phone on separate days.

Design and Build
The Galaxy S25 Edge is set to feature a remarkably slim design at just 5.84mm thick. This makes it the slimmest Galaxy S model ever produced by Samsung. Despite its thinness, it promises top-tier specifications without compromising performance. Weighing only 162 grams, it is expected to be both lightweight and portable.
Samsung plans to use titanium for the phone's frame, known for its strength and scratch resistance. This choice of material should give the device a premium feel while maintaining durability and sleekness. The phone is expected to come in three striking colours: Titanium Icy Blue, Titanium Jet Black, and Titanium Silver.
Performance and Camera Features
The Galaxy S25 Edge is rumoured to house a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset paired with 12GB of RAM. This combination should ensure smooth gaming, streaming, and multitasking experiences. The phone's dual-camera system includes a 200-megapixel primary camera for high-resolution photography and a 12-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies.
Although some flagship models offer triple-camera setups, this configuration still suggests excellent photography capabilities. It positions the Galaxy S25 Edge as a strong contender in the premium smartphone market.
Despite its slim profile, the phone is expected to include a 4,000mAh battery. While not as large as some bulkier smartphones, this capacity is impressive given its thin design. Samsung seems to have balanced sleekness with battery efficiency effectively.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Pricing
The pricing for the Galaxy S25 Edge is anticipated to reflect its premium features. Leaks suggest that the 256GB variant may cost between Rs 1,11,000 and Rs 1,20,400 (approximately), while the 512GB variant could range from Rs 1,20,400 to Rs 1,29,600 (approximately). In India, prices might vary from Rs 1,13,000 to Rs 1,31,900 based on storage options. This positions it closer in price to the Galaxy S25 Ultra than the standard S25 model.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge promises to be one of Samsung's most stylish smartphones yet with its ultra-thin design and powerful specifications. However, due to its high price tag, it will likely appeal more to users who prioritise luxury and performance over cost considerations.
