Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Launch Reportedly Delayed by Up to Two Months: Here's New Launch Timeline and Specs
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is one of the most highly anticipated upcoming devices from the South Korean tech giant. While earlier reports suggested an April 15 launch, a recent report indicates that the release has been pushed back to May or June. Here's everything you should know about the Galaxy S25 Edge, including its new launch timeline, specs, and price.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Launch Reportedly Delayed
According to ETNews, Samsung Electronics' MX division is currently discussing rescheduling the Galaxy S25 Edge launch event between May and June. Initially planned for April 15, the company internally decided to reassess the schedule. This update has reportedly been shared with the three major mobile carriers that will sell the device.

The report also suggests that the Galaxy S25 Edge launch event will likely be an online-only event instead of an in-person unveiling. Samsung is expected to use a teaser video format, similar to how the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition (SE) was introduced last year. During the event, the company will reveal the smartphone's specifications, pricing, and official release date.
While Samsung has not disclosed a specific reason for the delay, sources confirm that the rescheduling is not due to quality issues with the Galaxy S25 Edge.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge: What We Know So Far
The upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to measure just 5.84mm thick, making it the slimmest Galaxy S model ever produced by the brand. In terms of features, the device is likely to come with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset paired with 12GB of RAM.
It may feature a 200MP dual rear camera system and a 12MP selfie camera. Despite its slim profile, the phone is expected to pack a 4,000mAh battery with support for 25W charging. As far as the price is concerned, it's rumoured to be priced between Rs 1,13,000 to Rs 1,31,900 in India.
