Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Officially Teased: Will Feature Dual-Rear Cameras, Snapdragon 8 Elite Chip

Samsung just concluded its first Galaxy Unpacked event of 2025, where it announced the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. However, the South Korean tech giant also teased a new slimmer Galaxy S25 smartphone.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim had long been rumoured but recently got an official moniker, titled the 'Galaxy S25 Edge'. This new Galaxy S25 Edge will be slimmer and lighter than the Galaxy S25, the most compact phone in the company's portfolio.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge: What We Know So Far!

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to measure 6.4mm thick, which is incredibly thin for a flagship smartphone. Moreover, the vanilla Galaxy S25 measures 7.2mm thick, which is already compact.

Moreover, the Galaxy S25 Edge is also expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset paired with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. Samsung's teaser also confirms that the Galaxy S25 Edge will feature a dual-rear camera setup with a 200MP primary sensor and a 50MP telephoto shooter with 3.5x optical zoom.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge was also showcased in a silver shade at Unpacked 2025. As of now, it is unclear were the Galaxy S25 Edge will sit in Samsung's Galaxy S25 line-up. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is also expected to compete with the iPhone 17 Air, Apple's take on the slim iPhone 17.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 price in India starts from Rs 80,999 for the 12GB/256GB model. Moreover, the Galaxy S25+ price in India is set at Rs 99,999 for the base 12GB/256GB configuration. Finally, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra price in India is set at Rs 1,29,999 for the base 12GB/256GB model.
