Samsung has officially confirmed the launch date for its upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge. The newest addition to the Galaxy S series is set to debut on May 13 at 9:00 a.m. KST (7:30 a.m. IST).
The announcement was made via Samsung's social media platforms, and the event-titled "Galaxy S25 Edge: Beyond Slim"-promises to unveil what the brand is calling the slimmest Galaxy S device ever. Meanwhile, pre-reservations have already begun in the US, with $50 Samsung credit.

The Galaxy S25 Edge was first teased during the Galaxy S25 series launch and later showcased at MWC 2025. Samsung has also confirmed that the device will feature a 200MP main camera.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge: What We Know So Far
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to feature a 6.65-inch display with thin bezels, a 120Hz refresh rate and 2,600 nits peak brightness. It could be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy SoC paired with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage.
On the software front, it will run on Android 15-based One UI 7. For optics, the smartphone will include a dual rear unit featuring a 200MP main sensor with an f/1.7 aperture and an 85-degree field-of-view (FoV). The main lens will likely be paired with 12MP ultra-wide lens with an f/2.2 aperture and a 120-degree FoV.
Upfront, it might opt for a 12MP sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and an 80-degree FoV. Moreover, the device will likely pack a 3,900mAh battery with 25W charging. Lastly, it is expected to weigh 163g and measure only 5.85mm in thickness, making it the slimmest Galaxy S model yet.
