Samsung Galaxy S25 FE Launch Teased: Galaxy Tri-Fold Expected to Come This Year

Samsung has disclosed its financial performance for the second quarter of this year, along with its strategic plans for the latter half of 2025. The South Korean technology leader confirmed the release of several new products in the upcoming months. Among these are the much-anticipated triple-fold smartphone and the Project Moohan extended reality (XR) headset. Additionally, Samsung hinted at the launch timeline for the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE handset.

During the Q2 2025 earnings call, Daniel Araujo, Vice President of Samsung's Mobile Experience division, revealed that the Galaxy S25 FE will be launched earlier than expected. This indicates a potential release in global markets by August or early September, contrasting with last year's late September launch of the Galaxy S24 FE.

Upcoming Product Launches

The Galaxy S25 FE is anticipated to feature an Exynos 2400 SoC, complemented by 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. It is likely to operate on One UI 8 and house a 4,900mAh battery. Camera-wise, it may sport a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup and a 12-megapixel front camera. Colour options could include icy blue, jet black, navy, and white.

Samsung also announced that its Tri-Fold smartphone and XR headset will debut in H2 2025. The XR headset, known as Project Moohan, was recently listed on Geekbench featuring a Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2 chipset. Meanwhile, the triple-fold smartphone is expected to be named Galaxy Z TriFold and might hit markets in October.

Additional Product Releases

In addition to these flagship devices, Samsung plans to introduce the Galaxy Tab S11 series shortly. The company will also expand its entry-level offerings with new models in its Galaxy A series. These could include the Galaxy A17 5G and Galaxy A07 models that have recently appeared online.

Earlier reports suggested that Samsung's triple-fold phone might be called Samsung G Fold. However, current expectations lean towards it being branded as Galaxy Z TriFold instead.

The upcoming months promise significant activity from Samsung as it rolls out these innovative products across various segments. With advancements in both high-end and entry-level categories, Samsung aims to cater to a broad spectrum of consumer needs.
