Samsung Galaxy S25 FE to Feature Upgraded Front Camera, New Leak Reveals

Samsung has launched a total of four devices in its Galaxy S25 lineup so far, and now a fifth model is expected to join the series - the Galaxy S25 FE. This upcoming handset will succeed last year's Galaxy S24 FE.

Now, a new leak of the Galaxy S25 FE has surfaced online, hinting at a notable upgrade in the front camera department. Additionally, the Galaxy S25 FE was also spotted on Geekbench, revealing its processor. Here's what to expect from Samsung's upcoming fan edition smartphone.

Samsung Galaxy S25 FE Camera and Processor Details

According to a report from GalaxyClub, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 FE could feature a 12MP front camera, the same selfie sensor found in the standard Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. If this turns out to be true, it would be a notable upgrade over Galaxy S24 FE and Galaxy S23 FE, both of which came with a 10MP front-facing camera.

The report also reveals that the main rear camera will remain a 50MP sensor, consistent with what Samsung used in the Galaxy S23 FE and S24 FE.

Moreover, a new Samsung device with the model number SM-S731U has been spotted (via 91mobiles) on Geekbench. While the official name hasn't been confirmed, the model number suggests it's the Galaxy S25 FE. The device scored 2,064 in the single-core test and 6,899 in the multi-core test.

According to the Geekbench listing, the Galaxy S25 FE is expected to run Android 16 and come with 8GB of RAM. It's powered by a deca-core processor with a CPU configuration comprising one core at 3.21GHz, two at 2.90GHz, three at 2.00GHz, and four at 1.96GHz. The processor is paired with the Samsung Xclipse 940 GPU, indicating it could be the Exynos 2400 - the same chipset that runs the Galaxy S24.

As far as the launch is concerned, reports suggest the next-gen fan edition phone could arrive in late September or early October alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE.
