The Samsung Galaxy S25 and the Galaxy S25+ were announced at the "Galaxy Unpacked 2025" launch event, held in San Jose, California. The Galaxy S25 series models ship with One UI 7, Samsung's AI-first platform that is designed to provide the most intuitive controls, enabling AI-powered personalized mobile experiences.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy S25 features a flat 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a full HD+ (2340 x 1080) resolution and an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite, the standard variant comes with 12GB of RAM, an upgrade over 8GB of RAM. It will be available in three storage options -- 128GB/256GB/512GB.

For imaging, the Galaxy S25 offers a 50MP primary camera with OIS support, a 12MP ultrawide camera with a 120-degree field of view, and a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS. The Samsung Galaxy S25+ flaunt a larger 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display that offers a QHD+ (1,440x3,120 pixels) resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite, it comes with 12GB of RAM. You'll be able to choose between 256GB and 512GB storage configurations.

It gets the same connectivity, software updates, cameras and Galaxy AI features as its sibling. However, the Galaxy S25+ packs a 4,900mAh battery with 45W wired charging and wireless charging support. Lastly, the Galaxy S25+ measures 158.4 x 75.8 x 7.3mm in dimension and weighs 190 grams.

Both the Galaxy S25 and the Galaxy S25+ feature an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. They offer 6 months of Gemini Advanced and 2TB of cloud storage at no extra cost.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 price starts at $799 (roughly Rs 69,074) for the base 12GB/128GB model, while the Galaxy S25+ carries a starting price of $999 (roughly Rs 86,364) for the 12GB/256GB variant.
