The Gemini Live AI aims to enhance user interaction by allowing them to practice presentations, receive spoken feedback, and incorporate images, files, and YouTube videos into conversations. This makes the AI more context-aware and multimodal.
Gemini Live Features in Samsung Galaxy S25
The Gemini Live AI offers a more natural and interactive experience for users of the Galaxy S25 series. It allows users to perform multiple tasks across different apps with a single prompt. For instance, when searching for nearby restaurants, Gemini can use Google Maps for recommendations and draft messages via Google Messages to share them.
Samsung also announced new Gemini Extensions compatible with Samsung Calendar, Samsung Clock, Samsung Notes, and Samsung Reminder. These extensions aim to streamline user interactions across various applications on the Galaxy S25 series.
Upcoming Features and Enhancements
In addition to these features, Samsung plans to introduce Project Astra in the coming months. This real-time multimodal AI assistant from Google will initially be available on the Gemini app for Android before being rolled out to the Galaxy S25 series. It will include screen sharing and live video streaming capabilities.
A dedicated side button on the Galaxy S25 series provides instant access to Gemini. With a single press, users can set reminders, save notes, or get details about upcoming meetings using this AI feature.
The company also teased a new model called the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge during the event. However, further details about this model have not yet been disclosed. This collaboration between Samsung and Google signifies a step forward in integrating advanced AI features into smartphones. The introduction of these capabilities aims to enhance user experience by making interactions more seamless and intuitive.
