Samsung Galaxy S25 Series' FCC Leak Confirms 5G Bands, Charging Speed, and More
Samsung's much-anticipated Galaxy S25 series is edging closer to its launch, with three models spotted in the FCC certification database. These listings, discovered by MySmartPrice, provide new insights into the flagship lineup, confirming several features and specifications that hint at a competitive addition to the premium smartphone market.

Three Models Confirmed for the Galaxy S25 Series
The FCC certification confirms three model numbers: SM-S931B/DS, SM-S936B/DS, and SM-S938B/DS, corresponding to the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. This aligns with previous information from the IMEI database, where the devices' monikers were also confirmed.
Samsung appears to be maintaining its established naming conventions, as the Galaxy S24 series used the SM-S92x1B identifiers. The updated model numbers suggest the S25 lineup will continue the evolution of Samsung's flagship offerings with refined features and connectivity upgrades.
Charging and Connectivity Features
Both the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ were tested using Samsung's EP-TA800 charging adapter and EP-DN980 charging cable, confirming support for 25W wired charging. These models will ship with a Type-C to Type-C cable, reflecting the industry-wide shift toward universal USB-C compatibility.
Additional certifications reveal support for wireless charging and wireless power sharing, consistent with Samsung's emphasis on convenience. Connectivity options for the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ include:
- Bluetooth 5.4
- Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n/a/ac/ax/be)
- GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System)
- Ultra-Wideband (UWB)
- DisplayPort (DP)
- NFC (Near Field Communication)
Support for 5G bands on these devices is extensive, though the Galaxy S25+ lacks compatibility with the n75 band.
Galaxy S25 Ultra: Flagship Features
The Galaxy S25 Ultra, Samsung's premium offering in the lineup, also underwent testing with the EP-TA800 adapter, confirming 25W charging support. However, based on precedent from its predecessor, it is expected to include 45W fast charging capabilities.
In addition to wireless charging and reverse wireless charging, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will come with full S Pen support, making it an attractive choice for productivity-focused users. Its connectivity features mirror those of the S25 and S25+ while supporting an even wider range of 5G bands, including n1/2/3/5/7/8/12/20/25/26/28/38/40/41/66/77/78.
What's Next for the Galaxy S25 Series?
While the FCC certification confirms core connectivity and charging details, other specifications such as display technology, camera features, and internal hardware remain unconfirmed.
