Samsung Galaxy S26 FE Full Specifications and Pricing Tipped: Could Launch Next Month

Samsung’s next Fan Edition phone is beginning to take shape through leaks, and the Galaxy S26 FE may not be the budget-friendly flagship many buyers expect. The device is tipped to arrive in early September with a larger display, an Exynos 2500 chip, a 50-megapixel main camera and faster 45W charging.

The biggest talking point, however, could be price. A leaked European price of 799 euros would place the Galaxy S26 FE uncomfortably close to discounted full-fat Galaxy S26 models. That matters for buyers in India too, where Samsung’s FE phones usually compete with OnePlus, iQOO, Vivo and older Galaxy S-series flagships.

Galaxy S26 FE Specifications Tipped Ahead of Launch

According to the leaked specification sheet, the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE will feature a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a Full HD+ resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. The panel is said to support up to 120Hz refresh rate, 1,200 nits typical brightness and up to 1,900 nits in high brightness mode.

The phone is expected to use Samsung’s Exynos 2500 processor, paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB internal storage. If accurate, Samsung will again follow the FE formula of using slightly older flagship-grade hardware inside a design aligned with its current Galaxy S line-up.

The Galaxy S26 FE is tipped to come in three colours: Graphite, Pistachio and Blueberry. The leaked dimensions point to a slim 7.4mm body, while the weight is listed at 193 grams. The device is also expected to carry an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.

Camera, Battery and Software Details

On the back, Samsung is expected to offer a triple-camera setup. This may include a 50-megapixel main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilisation, an ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 aperture, and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.

For selfies, the Galaxy S26 FE is tipped to use a 12-megapixel front camera with an f/2.2 aperture. The rear cameras may support 8K video recording at up to 30fps, while 4K recording could go up to 60fps. These figures are in line with Samsung’s usual positioning for upper mid-range premium phones.

The battery is listed at 4,900mAh, with support for 45W wired fast charging. The leaked sheet also mentions up to 50 hours of typical use and 1,200 charge cycles under EPREL classification. That cycle rating is notable because battery longevity is becoming a bigger buying factor for premium smartphone users.

Connectivity options may include Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, two Nano-SIM slots and support for one or two eSIM profiles. The phone is also expected to run Android 17 with Samsung’s One UI out of the box, though Samsung has not officially confirmed the device or its software version yet.

Why the Leaked Price Could be a Problem

The rumoured 799-euro price makes the Galaxy S26 FE look less straightforward than previous FE models. In many markets, older Galaxy S Plus models often receive steep discounts within months of launch. That can make them better value, especially if they offer stronger cameras, a sharper display or more storage.

For Indian buyers, the final local price will be critical. Samsung’s FE phones usually become attractive only after launch offers, bank discounts and exchange bonuses. If the Galaxy S26 FE launches too close to regular Galaxy S26 pricing, buyers may wait for deals or choose last year’s flagship instead.

Samsung has not announced the Galaxy S26 FE yet, so the leaked specifications should be treated as unofficial for now. Still, the details suggest a familiar FE strategy: flagship styling, capable hardware and some compromises. Whether that package works will depend largely on launch pricing and early offers.
