Samsung Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus Full Specifications Revealed Ahead of Launch: Here’s What to Expect
The Samsung Galaxy S26 series is expected to make its debut in India and globally next month. While Samsung is yet to reveal details about the launch, new information has emerged, confirming the full specifications of the Galaxy S26 and S26 Plus.
A post shared by tipster Debayan Roy (Gadgetsdata) reveals the full specifications of the Galaxy S26 and S26+. And if the post is accurate, then we can expect more of the same from the S26 series.

Samsung Galaxy S26, S26+ Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy S26 and S26 Plus will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 or Exynos 2600 chip, depending on the region, although the former might be limited to China and the US. Moreover, the two Galaxy S26 smartphones could also come with 12GB of RAM. The Galaxy S26 series will run on Android 16 with the OneUI 8.5 skin on top.
Additionally, the Galaxy S26 will sport a 6.3-inch flat LTPO M14 AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. On the other hand, the Galaxy S26+ is expected to get a 6.7-inch flat LTPO M14 AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. The panel will also support the HDR10+ format.
The Galaxy S26 series will also feature an IP68 rating for resistance to dust and water as well as glass protection on the front and back with an aluminum frame. Finally, the post also reveals the Galaxy S26 will pack a 4,300mAh battery, while the Galaxy S26+ will opt for a 4,900mAh battery.
This suggests that the Galaxy S26 series won't make the upgrade to silicon carbon battery technology just yet. Additionally, the standard Galaxy S26 will only support 25W wired fast charging, while the S26+ will come with faster 45W charging support. Both phones will support Qi2 wireless charging and use a USB 3.2 port.
For optics, the Samsung Galaxy S26 and S26+ will opt for a triple-camera setup that includes a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and a new 12MP telephoto shooter with 3x optical zoom and OIS. These specifications suggest a minor upgrade to the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Series Launch Timeline
The Samsung Galaxy S26 series is expected to make its debut sometime next month at the company's first Galaxy Unpacked event of 2026. The line-up will include the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra.
Samsung has reportedly dropped the Edge model from its flagship line-up this year after the poor performance of the Galaxy S25 Edge.
