Samsung Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus Specifications Tipped Ahead of Galaxy Unpacked 2026
Samsung is expected to expand its flagship Galaxy S range later this month with the rumoured Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+. Renders and leaked specifications suggest both phones share the same 50-megapixel primary rear camera, but differ in screen size and resolution. Samsung has not confirmed either device, yet detailed reports already outline displays, chipsets, batteries and design tweaks.
The standard Samsung Galaxy S26 is tipped to carry a 6.3-inch full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED display, while the Galaxy S26+ may step up to a 6.7-inch Quad HD+ AMOLED panel. The smaller model is said to weigh 137g and measure 149.6 x 71.7 x 7.2mm, whereas the larger variant reportedly comes in at about 190g and 158.4 x 75.8 x 7.3mm.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Camera and Design Details
According to Android Headlines, renders of the Samsung Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ show a design that largely matches the Galaxy S25 series from the front. Both alleged phones appear with slim, uniform bezels and a centred hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera. The rear panel, however, may change more noticeably with a new raised camera deco.
The leaked images indicate that the Samsung Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ move away from the flush camera layout seen on the Galaxy S25 range. Instead, the triple camera unit now seems housed in a slightly elevated island, resembling the design of the Galaxy S25 Edge. This raised section frames the three lenses and gives the back a more defined camera area.
For photography, the Samsung Galaxy S26 is reported to feature three cameras on the rear: a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens. On the front, leaks mention a 12-megapixel selfie camera for video calls and photos. The same camera hardware is expected to appear on the Galaxy S26+ as well.
Samsung Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+ Specifications
Samsung is again said to be planning a dual-chip approach for the Samsung Galaxy S26 series. Reports claim the Galaxy S26 will use the Exynos 2600 SoC in some markets. Other regions are expected to receive units powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor instead, mirroring Samsung’s usual split chipset strategy.
Both Samsung Galaxy S26 models are rumoured to ship with Android 16, running Samsung’s One UI 8.5 interface on top. The standard Galaxy S26 may include a 4,300mAh battery, while the larger Galaxy S26+ is tipped to house a 4,900mAh unit. The Galaxy S26+ battery is also expected to support the Wireless Power Share feature for charging accessories.
