Samsung Galaxy S26 Series Charging Speeds Leak: Ultra Model Could See Biggest Upgrade Yet
The Samsung Galaxy S26 series has been circulating in the news for several days; from the rumoured launch date to features, everything is buzzing on the internet.
Now, the latest info suggests that the next-gen S series phones could see a major upgrade in terms of charging capabilities. Here's what to expect.

Galaxy S26 Series Charging Capabilities Leaked
According to a new leak from Anthony (@TheGalox_), both the Galaxy S26 and S26 Plus are expected to retain the same wired charging speeds as last year - 25W for the standard model and 45W for the Plus. However, the Galaxy S26 Ultra may see a boost, with support for 60W wired charging, up from the S25 Ultra's 45W.
Wireless charging of the Galaxy S26 series appears to be getting an upgrade across the lineup. The S26 and S26 Plus are expected to support 20W wireless charging, while the Ultra model is said to support 25W wireless charging, an upgrade over the S25 series' 15W wireless charging.
Galaxy S26 Series Launch Timeline (Expected)
The Galaxy S26 Unpacked launch event is likely to take place in late January 2026, with sales expected in early February. Earlier reports suggested that the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S26 series could be delayed, as Samsung had initially planned to introduce an ultra-slim "Edge" model in the lineup, but due to weak sales, the company reportedly decided to bring back the Plus variant. Since all are speculations, we'd suggest our readers take this with a pinch of salt.
