Samsung Galaxy S27 Screen Protector Images Leaked, Hint at Display Details

Samsung's next flagship phones are still months away, but leaks are already giving us an idea of what to expect from the Galaxy S27 series. Newly leaked screen protectors suggest that Samsung may stick to a familiar design for its upcoming phones, with no major changes to the front. Read on to know more.

Samsung Galaxy S27 Screen Protector Images Leaked

Samsung Galaxy S27 Series: What to Expect

The leaked screen protector images belong to the Samsung Galaxy S27, Galaxy S27+ and Galaxy S27 Ultra. Shared by SammyGuru, the images show three different sizes, with the overall shapes appearing similar to those of the current Galaxy S26 lineup.

The leak does not reveal the phones' complete designs, but it offers an early look at their expected front panels.

Quick Note: Samsung has not confirmed any details about the Galaxy S27 series yet, so these designs and specifications should be treated as rumours.

Now coming back to the leaked images, the standard Galaxy S27 could feature a 6.27-inch display, while the Galaxy S27+ is tipped to get a 6.66-inch screen. The Galaxy S27 Ultra (as you might expect) is expected to have the largest display of the three, measuring 6.89 inches.

The images also suggest that all three phones could retain rounded corners and a centred punch-hole cutout for the front camera. The Galaxy S27 Ultra is also expected to keep the softer corners seen on its predecessor, although some reports suggest that Samsung could make its display bezels slightly slimmer.

The leaked accessories reportedly include clear screen protectors as well as privacy-style versions designed to limit visibility from the sides. However, these accessories do not confirm that Samsung will introduce any new privacy display technology across the entire lineup.

There is also a possibility that the Galaxy S27 Ultra's screen protector could fit the Galaxy S26 Ultra, based on earlier reports. If that turns out to be true, it would further suggest that the front design may not change much between the two generations.

Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro To Join the Lineup?

One detail that stands out is the absence of the rumoured Galaxy S27 Pro from the leaked screen protectors. Samsung is reportedly considering a fourth model that could sit between the standard Galaxy S27+ and the Galaxy S27 Ultra.

The Galaxy S27 Pro is expected to feature a 6.47-inch display, making it smaller than the Plus and Ultra models. It could also borrow some of the Ultra's features, including its rumoured new rear camera bar design, while potentially offering a more compact alternative.

However, the model has not been confirmed by Samsung, and it is unclear why a screen protector for it was missing from the leak. Its absence could mean that the design is still being finalised.

If Samsung does launch a Pro model, it could give users another option between the Plus and Ultra phones. The exact differences in cameras, performance and other features remain unknown, so it is too early to say how it would compare with the Ultra.

Samsung Galaxy S27 RAM and Storage Options

In another news, we also have an idea of possible RAM and storage configurations for the Galaxy S27 series. According to reliable tipsters, Samsung is still considering different combinations as it evaluates rising component costs.

The standard Galaxy S27 and Galaxy S27+ could launch with 8GB or 12GB of RAM, paired with either 256GB or 512GB of storage. The Galaxy S27 Pro is expected to feature 12GB of RAM with 256GB or 512GB of storage, while a higher-end version with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage is reportedly under consideration.

The Galaxy S27 Ultra could also offer 12GB of RAM with 256GB or 512GB of storage, alongside a top-end variant with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.

Now, if these reports are true, the 1TB configuration could remain exclusive to the Ultra model, although Samsung has not confirmed this.

The company is also reportedly considering different UFS storage versions across the lineup to manage semiconductor costs.
