    Samsung announced the much awaited pahblets Galaxy S6 Edge+ along with the Galaxy Note 5 at its Unpacked event in New York last week. Well, in just few days, the South Korean company has made the Galaxy S6 Edge+ available in the Indian market.

    Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ sports a 5.7 inch dual-curve Super AMOLED display at 518ppi. It is powered by Octa-Core Exynos 7420 processor with 4x Cortex-A53 at 1.5GHz and 4x Cortex-A57 at 2.1GHz with Mali-T760MP8 GPU besides 4GB LPDDR4 RAM and will be shipped with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop on top of latest TouchWiz UI.

    The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ sports a bigger 5.7 inch display compared to 5.1 inch of the original S6 Edge smartphone. The display features a sharp Quad-HD resolution with curved edge design on both sides.

The smartphone sports a 16 megapixel primary camera with (OIS) Optical Image Stabilization and has a great low light sensitivity. The camera interface in the S6 Edge+ is simple, quick and allows you to take pictures faster and accurately.

    The wireless charging feature has been improved, where it can change the phone wirelessly in 120 minutes, which is 30 percent reduction on what the company used on the last gen Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge.

    The smartphone is packed with additional features that helps you to manage the bigger screen. You can adjust the scree for one-handed operation mode. It shrinks the screen down to left or right, so that you can easily reach all the apps on the screen.

    Samsung introduced a new payment system on the Galaxy S6 Edge+. You can store all your credit, debit, loyalty cards and even more securely in the smartphone. Using the NFC and magnetic secure transmission technology, you can make payments via your smartphone. The Samsung Pay will become available to the public at the end of September.

    Samsung has introduced a keyboard case accessory for Galaxy S6 Edge+. The keyboard case can be attached to the smartphone and works as a physical keyboard for the device.

    The "People Edge" feature that is used to highlight five of your top contacts, is now been expanded with shortcuts to your favorite apps. Now you can highlight five of your top apps that you use frequently to add a shortcuts on the edge.

    The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ will be available in the Indian market starting August 28 at a initial price of Rs. 57,900.
