Samsung Galaxy S9 duo to be released on March 16: Possibility of a 256GB version

But the most mysterious part has been the pricing and the availability of the devices. While we have been keeping a close eye on the developments, it seems the availability details have also been leaked. Now we are hearing that the new Samsung flagships may hit the shelves in less than a month after the launch on February 25.

According to a popular Korean publication The Investor citing unnamed sources has reported that the pre-orders for Korea's major carriers will begin from February 28. Further, the publication also notes that the global sales will likely commence from March 16. Consumers who have pre-ordered the devices (in Korea) will probably get their hands on the device first. At this point, we are not sure whether the global pre-orders will ship before the 16 or not.

As for the pricing, there is no new information as such. The last we heard was that the new models would be expensive than before and reports have stated that they could be 100 Euros more than Galaxy S8 and S8+.

Meanwhile, in another instance, Korean Lost & Found center for phones has also now added the upcoming S9 duo in its database. What's interesting here is that there is a 256GB version of the Galaxy S9+. Samsung Galaxy S9 is listed with 64GB ROM. What's surprising is that the 128GB model is not to be found on the list.

In any case, we expect more leaks to pop up in the coming days ahead of the launch. But since we are so close to the launch everything will be officially revealed in a few days time.
