With just two weeks left for MWC 2018, the anticipation among smartphone enthusiasts is on the rise. We expect to see new smartphones from several manufacturers, but Samsung's next-generation Galaxy S series smartphones are undoubtedly the most talked about. The company has already confirmed that it will launch the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ at the world's largest exhibition for the mobile industry.
The flagship smartphones have been the subject to countless leaks so far and it seems the leaks will continue till the official launch. As such, the Samsung Galaxy S9 is listed on the website of Orange Romania, which is a broadband internet service and mobile network provider in Romania. As per the screenshot posted by Slashleaks, the website confirms some of the key specs of the smartphone.
The Galaxy S9 is listed with a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED display with QHD resolution. The display will also have 3D Touch support. The list also reveals the smartphone will be powered by the in-house Exynos 8895 processor that is comprised of eight cores.
Speaking of the camera department, the list shows the smartphone featuring a Dual Pixel 12MP camera that is capable of switching between f/1.5 and f/1.25 aperture sizes. Well, there must have been a printing mistake as a smartphone's camera is highly unlikely to have aperture size this big.
Finally, the screenshot reveals the Galaxy S9 will offer connectivity features like 4G+, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. While these specs look great, you should take this leak with a pinch of salt or two. There has been many instances where misleading information about the Galaxy S9 duo surfaced online.
When it comes to rest of the specifications, recent reports suggest the Samsung Galaxy S9 will come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage space. Unlike its bigger sibling the Galaxy S9+, the Galaxy S9 is said to sport a single rear camera of 12MP. At the front, the smartphone will most probably feature an 8MP snapper for selfies and video calls.
Other than that, the upcoming Samsung smartphone rumored to pack a 3,000mAh battery and run on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.
