Samsung has already officially confirmed that the Galaxy S9 and S9+ will be unveiled at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 in the month of February. Besides Samsung's Mobile Communications Business President, DJ Koh addressing a press conference at CES 2018 had revealed that the first flagship smartphone of 2018 will be unveiled at MWC.

Samsung Galaxy S9 to reportedly go on sale starting March 16

The South Korean company has reportedly planned to host a launch event for the Samsung Galaxy S9 on February 26 - the starting date of the MWC. However, as we wait eagerly for the upcoming Samsung flagships, a lot of rumor and leaks seem to continue to pour in.

Having said that popular tipster, Evan Blass has now revealed some interesting information about the upcoming devices. Well, citing a senior executive of a "major" protective case manufacturer Blass has stated that Samsung will put the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus on sale starting 16th of March.

And there's more, Blass has also mentioned that the next line of smartphones from the Korean manufacturer will go on pre-orders starting 1st of March. However, as of now, we can't confirm the weight of this report because Samsung is yet to announce the device officially. Only after the devices are launched we will have a good idea about the products as well as other necessary details.

But again, exciting days lie ahead and it is worth mentioning that we better prepare ourselves for MWC. We should be hearing and seeing some great things from the company during the event. Besides, with the launch confirmed we have one less thing to worry about.

Meanwhile, the smartphones have been doing rounds in the rumor mill for quite some time now. As per the rumors and leaks, the upcoming devices are expected to come with features like a thin-bezel, Infinity Display, and a dual camera setup. Some of the past rumors have also suggested that the Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9+ would have an improved iris scanner, fingerprint sensor below its primary camera, be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC or Samsung Exynos 9810 SoC and run Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box.

Further Samsung Galaxy S9+ is rumored to feature 6GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage and a dual camera setup. Both the Galaxy S models will most likely come with a 3.5mm headphone jack and other exciting features.
