Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 Rugged Smartphone Launched in India: Check Price, Specs, Features

Samsung has unveiled new rugged smartphone in India. The Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 is the latest rugged smartphone by the brand and is the first enterprise-focused handset by the brand.

To recall, the Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 was unveiled globally in January 2024. The Galaxy XCover 7 rugged smartphone arrives in Standard and Enterprise editions in India.

Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 Price in India

The Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 price in India is set at Rs 27,208 for the Standard Edition. Moreover, the Enterprise Edition of the XCover 7 costs Rs 27,530. The Galaxy XCover 7 rugged smartphone will be available for purchase through Samsung's online store and Samsung's corporate store.

Customers who purchase the Enterprise Edition of the Galaxy XCover 7 will get a 12-month subscription to Knox Suite. Moreover, the Standard edition of the Galaxy XCover 7 will come with a one-year warranty as opposed to two years on the Enterprise edition.

Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 Specifications

Samsung's latest rugged smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC paired with 6GB of RAM. The phone also comes with 128GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card. The handset runs the latest version of OneUI based on Android 14.

The Galaxy XCover 7 sports a 6.6-inch FHD+ TFT LCD screen with a standard 60Hz refresh rate and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone also packs a 4,050 mAh battery with 15W fast charging support, although the phone can also be charged through POGO pins. The speakers on the XCover 7 also supports Dolby Atmos.

The Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 features a 50 MP rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The rear camera supports scanning single and multiple barcodes or QR codes. Up front, there's a 5 MP shooter with an f/2.0 aperture that supports Face Unlock. Other security features include Samsung Knox with the Samsung Knox Vault.

The Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 features an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. Moreover, the handset is MIL-STD-810H military standards rated to survive extreme conditions. The screen on the XCover 7 is also protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+.

Connectivity options include Dual-SIM, 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS, and more. The Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 also features a 3.5mm audio jack and a USB Type-C port. Samsung's official portal also confirms exclusive offers on bulk orders of the Galaxy XCover 7.
