Samsung has introduced a special smartphone exclusively for Olympic athletes. For the first time, athletes at the Paris 2024 Olympics will be allowed to bring and use smartphones during the competition. These aren't just any smartphones; they are the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 Olympic Edition. This marks a significant change from previous rules where personal items, including smartphones, were prohibited.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 Olympic Edition stands out with its unique design. It features a yellow body adorned with gold Olympic rings and Paralympic agitos. Samsung collaborated with Parisian Men's Luxury Maison to create a bespoke case for each device.

The case is crafted from Venetian leather and showcases a distinctive patina with colours inspired by the Olympic rings. Every athlete participating in the Paris 2024 Olympics will receive one.

This exclusive smartphone will not be available to the general public. Approximately 17,000 athletes competing in the Paris 2024 Olympics will be given the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 Olympic Edition.

Alongside this special edition smartphone, athletes will receive additional benefits such as 100 GB of data, unlimited text messages, and voice calls. Samsung believes these features will help athletes stay connected with their friends and family throughout the event.

Pricing Details of Standard Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6

In India, the standard Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 is priced at Rs. 1,09,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant and Rs. 1,21,999 for the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant. It is available in blue, mint, and silver shadow colours.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 was launched alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 6. The basic model with 12GB RAM + 256GB storage is priced at Rs. 1,61,999. The variants with 12GB RAM + 512GB storage and 12GB RAM + 1TB storage are available for Rs. 1,76,999 and Rs. 2,00,999 respectively. This model comes in navy, pink, and silver shadow colours.
