Samsung Galaxy Z Flip FE New Leak: Display, Processor, and Other Details Revealed

Samsung is reportedly working on a budget-friendly Flip phone dubbed, the Galaxy Z Flip FE. It will be the first time Samsung introduces a fan edition (FE) to its foldable lineup, which was previously reserved for its S series of smartphones.

Earlier reports suggested that the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip FE will come alongside the purported Z Fold7 and Z Flip7. Now, the latest information has revealed the display features of the Galaxy Z Flip FE. Let's dive into the details.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip FE: What to Expect?

According to display analyst Ross Young, the Galaxy Z Flip FE will use the same display panel used in the Galaxy Z Flip 6. Given this, the smartphone is expected to feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity Flex display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 3.4-inch Super AMOLED cover display with a 60Hz refresh rate.

On the other hand, Smartprix spotted the Galaxy Z Flip FE on the GSMA database with the model number SM-F761B, which is said to be the global version. While other specifications of the phone are still under wraps, it's rumoured to come with the in-house Exynos 2400 processor paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.

As far as the launch is concerned, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip FE is anticipated to arrive in the second half of this year. By offering a more affordable alternative, Samsung could make foldable phones a more viable option for a broader audience.

Now, the South Korean tech giant is gearing up for the Galaxy S25 series launch, which is expected to take place on January 22. The Galaxy S25 lineup will likely comprise - the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+ and the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Even, the brand is expected to launch a new model to its Galaxy S25 series named -- the Galaxy S25 Slim, which is likely to launch in April, priced at $999 (around Rs 85,530).
