Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 Is Here: Slimmest Flip Yet with FlexWindow and Exynos 2500 SoC

At the Galaxy Unpacked event today, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Z Flip7, which comes as a successor to last year's Galaxy Z Flip6. The next-gen Flip phone comes with multimodal capabilities, powered by a new FlexWindow and a bigger battery and an even bigger display, compared to its predecessor.

Weighing just 188 grams and measuring only 13.7mm when folded, it is the slimmest Galaxy Z Flip to date. Let's take a look at its key features, pricing, and availability details.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 Specifications

The Galaxy Z Flip7 features a 4.1-inch Super AMOLED FlexWindow-the biggest yet on a Flip, which supports a 120Hz refresh rate and 2,600 nits peak brightness. Inside, it sports a 6.9-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X main display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate (1-120Hz) and a 21:9 aspect ratio.

Both the cover and back are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and the Armor FlexHinge is thinner than the hinge on the previous generation and features a restructured design and high-strength materials for smoother folds and long-lasting durability.

The Galaxy Z Flip7 is powered by the Exynos 2500 processor paired with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. It packs a 4,300mAh dual battery, which is the largest ever on a Galaxy Z Flip, delivering up to 31 hours of video play time on a single charge. The handset also includes Samsung DeX and runs on Android 16 with One UI 8.

Moreover, the Galaxy Z Flip7 brings several AI-powered features such as Now Bar, Now Brief, and Gemini Live (available directly on the FlexWindow).

For optics, the Galaxy Flip7 has a total of three sensors, including a 12MP ultra-wide camera, a 50MP wide-angle camera on the cover display and a 10MP selfie camera. It also comes with an IP48 rating for water and dust resistance.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 price in India starts at Rs 1,09,999 for the 12GB/256GB storage option. It will be available for pre-order starting today (July 9), with sales beginning July 25. The handset comes in Blue Shadow, Jetblack, Coral-red and Mint(online exclusive) colour options.
