Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 to Get 6.2-Inch Display: Report
The next generation of Samsung's foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold 5, will reportedly sport a 6.2-inch display like its predecessor. This news, albeit still a rumor, is a let-down for Samsung fans who hoped for a larger display.
Samsung appears to be working on reducing the appearance of the screen crease. The brand is reportedly focusing on addressing aesthetic issues plaguing foldable phones, such as display creases and device thickness.

Galaxy Z Fold 5 Rumored Features
According to tipster Ice universe, the screen size of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 will remain unchanged at 6.2 inches. Samsung reportedly wants to focus on improving the display's durability instead of caving into users' demands for a larger screen. The leaker did not share further details about the smartphone display.
To recall, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 also features a 6.2-inch screen. The device has a full-HD+ resolution of 904 x 2,316 pixels, an aspect ratio of 23.1:9, and an adaptive refresh rate of 120 Hz.
For the design, reports claim the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will feature a new hinge with a water-drop shape which will allegedly reduce the display's crease. In addition, the device will appear slimmer when folded.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 could feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. The foldable device will likely come in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options.
As for the imaging capabilities, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 could feature a triple-camera setup at the rear, which includes a 50MP primary camera. In addition, it will have a 12MP selfie camera. In comparison, the Z Fold 4 also sports a 50MP primary camera, so there's not much improvement in camera specifications.
