Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 Live Images Leak Ahead of July 9 Unpacked Event

Samsung's next Galaxy Unpacked event is just around the corner, where the tech giant is expected to unveil its next-generation foldables - the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7.

Ahead of the launch next week, live hands-on images of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 have surfaced online, giving an early look at the design of the next-gen foldable.

The latest info comes to light via tipster Jukan Choi (@Jukanlosreve), who has shared hands-on images of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, giving a closer look at its front, back, and side profiles, highlighting a blue shade. The triple rear camera setup resembles that of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 but notably lacks the individual rings around each lens, giving it a more streamlined appearance.

This design detail aligns with previously leaked renders shared by tipster @UniverseIce, which also pointed to a cleaner, ringless camera module.

The side profile confirms the presence of a SIM card slot and hints at a slimmer, lighter build overall. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to measure just 8.9mm thick when folded and 4.2mm when unfolded, making it more compact than its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold 6.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 - What We Know So Far

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to come with a 6.5-inch cover display and a large 8-inch foldable inner screen. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor. The device could pack a 4,400mAh battery with 25W charging support, and 15W wireless charging. For imaging, there will be a 200MP primary rear camera and a 10MP front camera with a 100-degree field of view.

On the software front, it's tipped to run in Android 16-based One UI 8.0 out of the box and receive seven years of major Android OS and security updates. For connectivity, it will likely support 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, a USB 3.2 Type-C port, stereo speakers, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. As far as the price is concerned, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is rumoured to come with the same price tag as its predecessor, which was launched starting at $1,899.99 (approximately Rs. 1,58,680).
