Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide Renders Leak: 5,000mAh Battery, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, and More Tipped
Samsung is rumoured to bring a new book-style fold dubbed the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide alongside the Z Fold 8 and the Z Flip 8. Recently, the renders and specifications of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 leaked online. Now, renders of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide have come to light, sharing the first look at the new foldable phone.

The leaked renders, shared by Android Headlines in partnership with OnLeaks, offer a full look at the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide. The device is reportedly codenamed H8 and carries the model number SM-F971U. The phone appears to feature a dual-camera module on the rear.

In terms of specifications, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide is expected to share most of its hardware with the standard Galaxy Z Fold 8. This likely includes the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chipset, a 5,000mAh battery, and 45W fast charging support.
The key difference between the two models is said to be the display sizes and overall dimensions. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide is tipped to feature a 5.4-inch cover display and a 7.6-inch inner foldable display, both slightly smaller than the regular Galaxy Z Fold 8.
Moreover, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide is said to measure 123.9 × 161.4 × 4.9mm when unfolded, or around 4.3mm without the protruding bezels. When folded, the dimensions are 123.9 × 82.2 × 9.8mm. The thickness could reach 14.6mm, including the camera bump. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide is also expected to come with 12GB or 16GB of RAM and 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of storage options.
The report further states that the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide could be priced at around $2,000 (approximately Rs 1,88,356).
